I had a really good weekend. As stressed as I was feeling about Saturday (and my family coming over to do some scrapbooking), wanting everything to be just right, hoping that everyone who was planning on attending would still be willing to (due to weather), I felt really good about how things went. I was so happy to have 3 of my sisters and my mom over. We visited and scrapbooked. We had fun. It's all good...
On another note: I miss my daughter. She's only been back to school for a month but I miss her. We had a really nice conversation last Thursday and on one hand it makes me really happy to have spoken to her and hear all that's going on with her, and on the other hand talking to her makes me miss her more sometimes. Anyway, she'll be coming home the second weekend in March for a couple days, back the last week in March for spring break, and again for Easter (a 3-day weekend). Not sure if we're planning a short trip that way once spring really arrives or what. We'll see. I kind of hope she plans on spending most of her summer here. But if she decides to stay there and work, well, what's a mother to do? I have to encourage her to work and I want to support her in her decisions.
